Ayaneo has officially opened orders for the Konkr Pocket Block, a vertical Android-based handheld device. The product was initially introduced in May under the company's budget-focused Konkr sub-brand. The device features a 3.33-inch LCD screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 960 x 720 pixels.
The hardware is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and includes a 3,500 mAh battery. For cooling, the manufacturer opted for a heat spreader instead of a fan. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system and includes a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Pricing for the base model with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage is set at $89. The higher-tier version, equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, is priced at $109. Early bird discounts offer a reduction of $10 on both models, lowering the entry price to $79 and $99 respectively.
The 2 GB RAM model is available in gray, while the 3 GB version is offered in Cube Purple and translucent Atoms White. Ayaneo expects to begin shipping the units at the end of October. Additionally, the company has launched the Game Boy Advance-inspired Konkr Pocket Advance handheld.
