Axelot Consult has developed an automation concept for Numina SRL, a company with 30 years of experience in the Moldovan market. The project aims to transition the distributor of Hettich hardware and Egger materials from manual operations to a transparent supply chain.
The project team surveyed over 10 warehouse facilities in Chisinau. The proposed strategy involves consolidating operations into five main locations. The plan includes specific storage solutions: mezzanine systems for small items, multi-directional stackers for boards, and cantilever racks for compact panels.
Specialists analyzed cargo flows and created a topological model to determine optimal storage locations and equipment requirements. The final concept includes 2D warehouse layouts, defined WMS boundaries, and calculations for necessary personnel and technical resources.
