Avto.ru has integrated photos of vehicle damage into its history reports. These images are sourced from Audatex, a company that has maintained a database of repair assessments for over 20 years.
The new feature is located within the insurance claims section. Alongside the photos, users can view details such as accident dates, lists of damaged parts, estimated repair costs, and insurance payout amounts.
The Audatex database currently holds hundreds of thousands of images. New photos are uploaded automatically following insurance inspections and are displayed alongside the corresponding repair calculations.
The service is currently available in test mode on both the Avto.ru website and its mobile application. The company intends to refine the feature based on user feedback.
