Avatr Technology has addressed recent reports regarding changes in its executive leadership. The company confirmed that Wang Hui continues to serve as Chairman of Avatr Technology and Executive Vice President of Changan Automobile. According to the official statement, Wang remains in his current roles while also overseeing specific international operations for the parent group.
Media reports previously suggested that Wang Hui had been reassigned to manage Changan Automobile's overseas business, specifically focusing on Southeast Asia and Latin America. While Wang retains his chairmanship, internal shifts indicate a redirection of his professional focus toward these global markets. Wang was appointed Chairman one year ago with a mandate to lead the company toward an IPO.
Industry observers note that the company's progress toward an initial public offering has faced challenges. Wang is recognized for his role in strengthening the strategic partnership between Changan and Huawei. Meanwhile, Chen Zhuo, the current President of Avatr and Vice President of Changan Automobile, is expected to take on broader management responsibilities within the Avatr brand.
Chen Zhuo is part of a group of emerging executives at Changan Automobile. He was officially appointed as Vice President of the parent company on June 15, alongside Di Zhirui, who currently leads the Qiyuan brand. These management adjustments reflect the ongoing organizational restructuring within the Changan automotive ecosystem.
