The open-source project 'Proyavka' allows photographers to automate image processing and transfer photos from Sony cameras to Telegram. The system uses a VPS to receive images via FTP or HTTPS, process them with film-emulation presets, and deliver them to a Telegram bot.
The software supports cameras with built-in FTP transfer, such as the Sony A7C II and A7 IV. For older models like the Sony a6300, the developer created an Android application using the OpenMemories-Tweak framework, which leverages the camera's Android 4.1.2 environment.
Users can manage settings via a Telegram mini-app, including film preset selection, intensity adjustment from 25% to 150%, and adding effects like grain, light leaks, and dates. The system uses mathematical models to generate 3D LUTs for each of the 12 available presets.
To deploy the solution, a VPS running Ubuntu 22.04+ or Debian 12+ with at least 1 core and 1-2 GB of RAM is required. The setup process uses sslip.io for domain naming and Let's Encrypt for certificates, with the source code available on GitHub.
