The developer released a trading bot designed to identify supply and demand zones on cryptocurrency perpetual contracts. The tool operates on 15-minute charts to define zones and monitors 5-minute intervals for price retests. When a pinbar candle touches a zone, the bot sends a chart and price targets to Telegram.
The algorithm defines zones based on specific price patterns rather than order flow data. It uses the Average True Range (ATR) over 20 candles to normalize volatility across different assets. A zone is validated only if the price moves away by at least 2 ATR within four candles, ensuring the signal is linked to a significant market impulse.
The bot uses the BingX exchange API, fetching up to 1000 candles per instrument. To comply with rate limits of one request per second, the system includes a 1.1-second delay between API calls. Currently, the bot tracks signal history in memory, meaning data is lost upon process restarts, and it does not execute trades automatically.
The source code is available on GitHub and requires environment variables for Telegram bot tokens and chat IDs. The developer notes that while the logic is tested against artificial datasets, further backtesting on live market data is required to evaluate performance, as the current thresholds were set manually.
