Audio-Technica has introduced its first wireless open-back headphones, the ATH-AL5NC. The device is priced at $279 and is currently available for purchase. The package includes a 1.2-meter cable and a carrying pouch.

The headphones feature 53mm drivers and support LDAC for 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution audio, alongside AAC and SBC codecs. Users can utilize Bluetooth multipoint connectivity to pair the device with two sources simultaneously.

The battery life of the ATH-AL5NC reaches up to 75 hours of continuous playback. A 15-minute quick charge provides an additional 8 hours of usage. The open-back design allows air to flow through the ear cups, which the company claims reduces heat buildup.

Through the Audio-Technica CONNECT app, users can customize sound presets, manage equalizers, and adjust codecs. The app also allows switching between specific modes, including low-latency gaming, noise reduction, and a setting to minimize sound leakage.
