Audi has launched a national buyout incentive program for current electric vehicle lessees, valid through September 30, 2026. The initiative allows customers to purchase their leased vehicles at a reduced price at the end of their contract term. The program aims to retain existing drivers and manage inventory levels as resale values for used electric vehicles fluctuate across the market.
The discount amounts vary by model. The E-Tron GT receives the largest reduction of $10 000. For the Q4 E-Tron, the discount is set at $5 000, which represents an increase from the $3 000 offered when the program was initially introduced in July 2026. The Q8 E-Tron is eligible for a $4 000 discount. These incentives apply specifically to lease-end buyouts.
To encourage participation, Audi is offering dealers a $500 facilitation incentive for every completed buyout under this program. This payment is provided in addition to standard margins earned on paperwork. The automaker introduced these measures following reports that returned electric vehicles were arriving at dealerships with values lower than the original residual projections.
