The AUDI brand, a joint venture between SAIC and Audi, was established specifically for the Chinese market. These vehicles feature a distinct design that omits the traditional four-rings logo in favor of the brand name in capital letters. While the manufacturer intended to restrict sales to China, independent importers have begun bringing these models into the European Union.
German importer Auto China has been facilitating the arrival of these vehicles in Europe, including the AUDI E7X SUV. In response, Audi has initiated legal proceedings against the importer to prevent the further purchase and sale of these Chinese-market vehicles within the EU, stating that it will consistently enforce its rights.
The AUDI E7X model, currently available in China, offers two battery capacities of 100 kWh and 109.3 kWh. The vehicle comes in four configurations, with the 300 kW 2WD version providing a range of up to 751 km. Additionally, the lineup includes a 500 kW AWD Quattro variant, which delivers approximately 670 hp.
