Asus has officially unveiled the ROG Swift 27 Gen 2 gaming monitor, scheduled to hit the market on October 16. The device is priced at ¥3699 and features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 320Hz refresh rate.

The display incorporates a BlackShield coating, which the company claims offers 2.5 times better scratch resistance than the previous generation. Key technical specifications include a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, a 0.03ms GTG response time, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and Delta E less than 2 color accuracy. The monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR 500 certified.

Designed for versatility, the monitor includes a tripod socket on the top for camera mounting and an ergonomic stand. The stand allows for height adjustments up to 110mm, horizontal rotation between -45 and +45 degrees, tilt from -5 to +20 degrees, and 90-degree vertical rotation.

Connectivity options consist of one DisplayPort 1.4 port with DSC support, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a USB-C port capable of 15W PD output. The rear of the chassis features the signature ROG branding.
