Asus has officially unveiled the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDS, a 31.5-inch gaming monitor featuring a third-generation QD-OLED panel. The display supports 4K resolution at a 180 Hz refresh rate and provides 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also includes 10-bit color depth and factory calibration with Delta E accuracy.
The monitor introduces Asus BlackShield coating, which the company claims increases scratch resistance by 2.5 times and improves perceived black levels by 40% compared to previous generations. To prevent screen burn-in, the device uses the Asus OLED Care Pro suite, which includes pixel shifting, logo brightness adjustment, and a proximity sensor named Neo.
Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4 port with DSC support and two HDMI 2.1 ports. The HDMI 2.1 interface supports 4K at 120 Hz with VRR for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. The monitor also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, along with specific scaling modes for competitive gaming.
The included ergonomic stand allows for adjustments in height, tilt, and swivel. Asus has not yet disclosed the retail price or the official release date for the new monitor.
