Asus has unveiled the NUC 14 Essential Fanless, a compact computer designed for continuous 24/7 operation. The device features a passive cooling system that utilizes a large aluminum heatsink to dissipate heat through the chassis, eliminating the need for internal fans.

The system is available with a choice of Intel processors, including the four-core Intel N150 and N250 models with a 6W TDP, or the top-tier Intel Core 3 N355. The latter features eight energy-efficient cores, a maximum clock speed of 3.9 GHz, and a 15W TDP.

The mini-PC supports up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM via a single SO-DIMM slot and includes an M.2 slot for SSD storage. Connectivity options include 2.5GbE Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, DisplayPort, and multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, allowing for multi-monitor setups.

Measuring 135 x 115 x 45 mm and weighing 640 grams, the device is targeted at industrial and commercial environments. Asus intends the system for use in retail, manufacturing, and educational settings where silent operation and high reliability are required.
