Astra Group has released version 2.1 of its Astra Automation platform, designed for centralized IT infrastructure management. The update introduces the Automation Dashboard, a new component that allows organizations to analyze automation results and evaluate their impact on IT processes.
The dashboard provides metrics such as task execution frequency, duration, success rates, and scenario demand. It also enables teams to calculate time savings and ROI, helping managers assess the effectiveness of automation investments and identify areas for further optimization or scaling.
The new version features containerized deployment for all platform components, simplifying management within modern corporate environments. Additionally, the update includes enhanced Fast Fail diagnostic mechanisms that check system parameters like network availability and disk space before installation.
Built on Ansible technology, Astra Automation manages server, cloud, and network infrastructure lifecycles, configuration, and software updates. Version 2.1 builds upon the architecture established in the previous release by adding data-driven analytics to support strategic decision-making.
