Decentralized exchange Aster has launched a perpetual futures contract for Oura Health, allowing traders to speculate on the company's upcoming Nasdaq IPO. The OURA/USD1 contract went live on September 23, 2026, offering up to 20x leverage. This instrument is synthetic and does not grant equity ownership, voting rights, or dividends.
Oura Health plans to offer 50 million shares at a price between $40 and $44. The company targets a fundraising goal of approximately $2.2 billion, with a fully diluted valuation estimated between $14.1 billion and $15.6 billion. About 73% of the IPO proceeds are expected to go to existing shareholders.
All settlements for the contract are conducted in USD1, a stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial. Aster uses this asset as the exclusive settlement layer for its real-world asset and equity perpetual products. The OURA listing is included in the platform's USD1 RWA Boost rewards program, which runs until December 31, 2026, and is supported by a fund of nearly $28 million.
Aster has previously introduced similar pre-IPO perpetual contracts for SpaceX and OpenAI. These synthetic instruments provide traders with exposure to price movements without requiring traditional brokerage accounts or meeting accredited investor criteria. However, the platform faces potential regulatory scrutiny regarding the trading of unregistered securities.
