Astell&Kern has officially listed its new Clarus Hi-Fi in-ear monitors on JD.com, with the retail price set at ¥21 999. The device features a multi-faceted design crafted from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, finished with a silver anodized coating and an ergonomic housing shape.
The internal acoustic architecture utilizes a nine-driver system. The low-frequency range is handled by a custom 9 mm dynamic driver paired with two Sonion balanced armature units. The midrange incorporates a three-unit Sonion array, while the high-frequency section combines one MEMS unit with two additional Sonion balanced armature drivers.
The headphones cover a frequency response range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The device includes a proprietary six-way crossover network designed to manage independent filtering for each acoustic path, ensuring phase consistency and tonal coherence. The sensitivity is rated at 103.9 dB SPL at 1 kHz, with an impedance of 9.7 Ω at 1 kHz.
Connectivity is provided via a 0.78 mm 2-pin interface. The package includes a custom 24 AWG four-core monocrystalline copper cable from Effect Audio, equipped with a 4.4 mm plug. Additionally, the set comes with six sizes of AZLA SE2000 silicone ear tips and a dedicated leather carrying case.
