ASRock has unveiled the DeskSlim series, a line of compact workstations housed in 5-liter chassis. These systems support full-sized desktop processors from both AMD and Intel, alongside discrete graphics cards with a power draw of up to 200 W.
The DeskSlim X600 model features an AM5 socket, supporting Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors with a TDP of up to 120 W. The DeskSlim B760 variant utilizes an LGA1700 socket, compatible with Intel Core 12th, 13th, and 14th generation chips with the same thermal limit.
Both platforms include four DDR5 DIMM slots, allowing for a maximum memory capacity of 256 GB. For storage, the X600 offers two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots, while the B760 provides one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot. Connectivity includes a 2.5 GbE port and Wi-Fi.
The workstations feature a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot designed for two-slot GPUs up to 200 mm long and 88 mm high. ASRock confirms compatibility with the Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell SFF, which features 24 GB of GDDR7 ECC memory. External power supply options include 240 W and 330 W units.
