Asian stock markets showed growth driven by high demand for technology sector shares. The MSCI Asia-Pacific index, which excludes Japan, increased by 0.7 percent, marking its sixth consecutive session of gains. Specific regional markets also performed well, with the South Korean KOSPI index rising by 1.2 percent and the Taiwanese market growing by 0.9 percent.
Simultaneously, global oil prices experienced a decline as supply from the Middle East increased. Brent crude prices fell to $99.18 per barrel, while U.S. crude dropped to $90.14 per barrel. This shift in pricing follows the decision by Saudi Arabia to resume operations on its East-West Pipeline and restart exports from the port of Yanbu.
