Arm has unveiled the Arm CSS for Mobile 2 computing platform, specifically designed for artificial intelligence, agentic AI, and mobile graphics. The platform features a new Arm Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU and an Arm C2 CPU cluster with SME2 support.

The new CPU cluster consists of two C2-Ultra cores and six C2-Pro cores. According to the Arm, single-threaded performance has increased by 15%, while multi-threaded performance has grown by 12%, and AI performance has risen by 1.7 times.

The Mali G2-Ultra NX is the company's first GPU designed from the ground up for AI. It incorporates dedicated neural accelerators (NX) to handle neural graphics tasks such as scaling, frame generation, and ray reconstruction.

The platform introduces Neural Super Sampling (NSS), which scales images from 540p to 1080p, and Neural Frame Rate Upscaling (NFRU), which doubles the same frame rate from 30 to 60 fps. Additionally, Neural Super Sampling and Denoising (NSSD) combines super-sampling with ray reconstruction.
