The 2026 Morocco Desert Challenge spans over 1,700 miles of desert terrain across eight days. Ariel modified a customer-owned Nomad vehicle specifically for this rally raid competition.
The modifications included an upgraded suspension system that increased ride height and widened the track. The company also installed reinforced driveshafts and Öhlins dampers to prepare the vehicle for the harsh conditions.
Throughout the eight-stage event, the car completed the course without any mechanical failures. The only work required during the race consisted of routine maintenance, including oil and air filter changes, brake pad replacements, and damper servicing.
