Arenadata has released version 16.13.2 of its transactional database management system, Arenadata Prosperity (ADP), alongside an update to its management component, ADP ES 2.1.0. The new version integrates the pg_duckdb extension, enabling the use of the DuckDB analytical engine directly within PostgreSQL for OLAP tasks and querying external Parquet and CSV files.

Security features have been expanded with new policies for passwords and auditing, alongside memory management and integrity check settings. The update also includes support for Astra Linux SE 1.8.6 and Red OS 8.0. Furthermore, the list of available PostgreSQL extensions has grown to include tools such as pg_cron, pg_hint_plan, and various foreign data wrappers like mysql_fdw and oracle_fdw.

The ADP ES management component now features a Session Manager for user session control. Enhancements to the Backup Manager include the ability to create restore points, progress indicators for backup and restore operations, and detailed logs showing the last verification date and duration for backups. Infrastructure components were also updated to PgBouncer 1.25.2 and HAProxy 3.4.
