German security firm Arcos has successfully raised €5.5 million in a seed funding round. The investment will support the company's efforts to scale its operations within the critical infrastructure sector and expand its footprint into new European markets.
The funding round saw participation from several key investors, including High-Tech Gründerfonds, Bayern Kapital, Pact, Haufe, and Robin Capital, alongside a group of strategic business angels. High-Tech Gründerfonds is backed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and KfW Capital.
Arcos provides a unified platform that integrates data from connected sensors to manage security incidents across diverse sites. The system is designed to monitor residential properties, commercial buildings, construction sites, and critical infrastructure such as data centers and railway substations.
The platform consolidates monitoring, decision-making, and incident management into a single operational system. By developing both the software and control center infrastructure in-house, Arcos aims to streamline workflows and address the industry-wide challenge of managing more sensors with limited personnel.
