Arcfox has released a new OTA update for the Alpha T5 electric vehicle, introducing five new features and one optimization. The update covers smartphone connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems, parking capabilities, security, HUD displays, and audio performance, with specific features tailored to different trim levels.
The Yuanjing edition now supports Apple CarPlay and Huawei HiCar, while other models receive CarLink connectivity. Furthermore, the Yuanjing edition gains the end-to-end 4.0 autonomous driving model. This system, trained on real-world traffic data, improves decision-making in lane changes, narrow road navigation, and parking scenarios.
For the Ruixiang edition, the update adds APA automated parking and RPA remote parking features, allowing users to control parking via a smartphone app. Additionally, the Ruixiang edition now includes remote control for Sentry Mode, enabling vehicle security monitoring directly through the Arcfox mobile application.
Across all Alpha T5 models, the HUD system now displays countdown timers for traffic lights to improve road safety. The manufacturer also optimized the sky speaker audio settings, adjusting volume distribution to enhance the surround sound experience for passengers inside the cabin.
