The Series 12 features the S11 chip, enabling Audio Intelligence Siri AI features such as Sound Recognition, Live Rewind, and Siri Recap. It also introduces a new heart sensor array with a 32-petal design to improve reading accuracy and minimize light leakage.
Health monitoring is expanded with continuous background heart rate sensing every five seconds. New features include Health Age, which compares health metrics to chronological age, and Readiness, which provides a daily score based on activity, training load, vitals, and sleep score.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4, also powered by the S11 chip and supporting Audio Intelligence, starts at $799. It is available in natural and black titanium, including a premium Hermès version, and offers up to 50 hours of battery life.
