Apple is preparing to launch its first MacBook model with a touchscreen interface, according to reports. The event is scheduled for approximately October 27, 2026. These new MacBook Pro devices will be lighter than current versions, feature OLED displays, and incorporate the Dynamic Island interface.

The company also plans to introduce a new iPad mini equipped with an OLED display, a landscape-positioned camera, and an upgraded speaker system. Additionally, Apple will unveil 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac models powered by the new M6 chip, though these devices will retain their existing physical designs.

The presentation will include both an online video stream and an in-person component for the press. The event is specifically aimed at creative professionals in the fields of video production, photo editing, and music production.

Prior to this launch, Apple has scheduled a separate smart home event for October 13. This earlier presentation is expected to feature a home hub with a display, a new HomePod mini, and an updated Apple TV, all centered around the Siri AI assistant.
