Apple will host the Welcome Home event on October 13 to unveil the HomeView smart hub. The device features an A18 chip and a design inspired by the iMac G4, with a display mounted above a speaker base. It will be available in four colors, with a wall-mountable version offered in two monochrome finishes.
The HomeView interface centers on the Siri AI assistant, supporting native Apple apps and widgets from nearby iPhones. While it lacks a dedicated App Store, it serves as a central hub for smart home control. The device is scheduled for market release in mid-November.
The updated HomePod mini 2 will feature an S10 chip and an N1 network chip, enabling support for Wi-Fi 7, Thread, and Matter protocols. It will be available in five colors. The device is expected to launch on October 30, with pricing likely exceeding $129.
The new Apple TV 4K will include integrated microphones for direct Siri voice commands. Additionally, the updated Siri Remote will feature a built-in speaker to assist in locating the device. Like the HomePod mini 2, the new Apple TV 4K is set to hit the market on October 30.
