Apple has sent invitations to media outlets for a hands-on product event scheduled for October 28 in Los Angeles. This full-day session suggests a significant hardware rollout is imminent by the end of the month, potentially following an online announcement around October 27.

The lineup is expected to feature the first MacBook Pro models with touchscreen capabilities, available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. These redesigned laptops will reportedly incorporate OLED displays and a display area similar to the iPhone Dynamic Island, maintaining the MacBook Pro branding.

The company also plans to introduce new Mac computers powered by the M6 chip, including updated 14-inch MacBook Pro models and a new iMac. These releases aim to expand the adoption of the M6 platform across the Mac product portfolio.

Additionally, a new generation of the iPad mini is anticipated. Key upgrades for the tablet include an OLED screen, a repositioned front-facing camera optimized for landscape video calls, and a redesigned speaker system to enhance audio and video conferencing performance.
