Apple has confirmed that the wall-mounted version of HomeView ships without a power adapter, USB-C cable, or wall mount. Users must purchase these accessories separately. The device requires a USB-C power adapter with at least 20W output, supporting 9V and 2.22A or higher. Inadequate power results in an on-screen warning.

Both the wall-mounted and desktop versions of HomeView are priced at $299. While the desktop model includes a 30W adapter and a 1.5-meter cable, the wall-mounted unit lacks these items. Apple offers Schneider Home mounts starting at $59.95 for USB-C versions and $79.95 for hardwired AC installations, with a PoE option arriving in early 2027 for $129.95.

The wall-mounted HomeView features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and an A18 chip. It weighs approximately 286 grams and is 0.98 centimeters thick, utilizing two full-range speakers. In contrast, the 952-gram desktop version includes a woofer and passive radiator. Pre-orders are open, with both models scheduled for release on November 13.
