Apple has officially listed the repair costs for its new HomeView smart home hub on the company's US website. The device, which features a 7-inch display, is priced at $299 for both the standard and wall-mounted versions.

For customers without an AppleCare plan, the cost for 'other damage' repairs is set at $279. This amount covers all types of hardware issues, as Apple does not currently differentiate between specific faults like screen cracks or speaker failures.

The repair fee for non-AppleCare users represents approximately 93% of the device's total retail price. In contrast, customers who have purchased AppleCare coverage will pay a flat fee of $39 for accidental damage repairs.

The HomeView smart display was announced on October 13 and is currently available for pre-order in the United States and other regions. The company plans to begin shipping the units to customers on November 13.
