Apple introduced two official accessories for the iPhone Duo: a dedicated protective case and a Folio case with a built-in stand. Both accessories use magnetic installation to accommodate the foldable screen structure and enhance usage for reading, watching videos, and video calls.
The iPhone Duo case features a thin, two-piece design covering both the front and back of the device. Made from matte polycarbonate to reduce fingerprints and glare, it includes integrated magnets for precise alignment. The case is available in sand and navy blue colors.
The iPhone Duo Folio case focuses on the back of the phone and does not cover the edges. It is crafted from Apple's proprietary TechWoven fabric and includes a foldable stand that sits flush when closed. The stand provides multiple angles for reading, video playback, and FaceTime calls.
The Folio case supports wireless charging via a MagSafe area located behind the stand, allowing users to charge the device without removing the accessory. This model is available in taupe and navy blue.
Apple stated that these accessories underwent thousands of hours of testing, following the same standards as other official cases. The design process accounted for hinge movement, magnetic positioning, and spatial changes during folding and unfolding.
Pricing and availability dates have not yet been announced. Apple expects to reveal these details around the time pre-orders for the iPhone Duo begin.
