Apple is preparing to launch a new generation of the Apple TV 4K, which will reportedly feature an integrated microphone for direct voice interaction with Siri. This update marks a shift from the current model, where users must rely on the Siri Remote or a HomePod to issue voice commands.

The redesigned Siri Remote will include a built-in speaker. This addition is intended to help users locate the remote if it is misplaced, such as between sofa cushions. The new Apple TV 4K is scheduled for release on October 30.

Alongside the new Apple TV, the company plans to release an updated HomePod mini on the same date. This new smart speaker model is expected to be powered by the S10 chip. These devices are part of Apple's broader home hardware strategy.
