Apple is reportedly preparing to launch Final Cut Pro 13, which will introduce several new features for professional video editing. The upcoming version aims to enhance workflow efficiency through better integration with other creative software and improved animation controls.

A key update involves bidirectional editing with Pixelmator Pro. While the current version allows sending frames to Pixelmator Pro as static images, the new tool will enable users to modify frames and reinsert the edited content directly back into the video project.

The software update is expected to include natural motion blur and keyframe easing, both designed to refine the movement of visual elements. Additional features mentioned in the leak include pinch-to-zoom functionality, viewer controls, and the ability to disconnect clips.

The leak originated from a video titled 'Final Cut 13 is here' uploaded by a YouTube user, which was subsequently set to private. Final Cut Pro currently offers tools for video import, color grading, subtitling, and audio processing, with version 12.4 being the latest release as of September 29.
