Apple has completed a renovation of the Apple Park Visitor Center, which began in July 2026. The company removed the augmented reality (AR) exhibition area that had been in operation for approximately nine years since the center opened in 2017.

The former AR zone, which allowed visitors to use custom iPads to explore the campus architecture and solar facilities, has been converted into a traditional retail space. This new area now features wall-mounted accessory displays and updated product tables for hardware.

The visitor center previously consisted of three sections: the AR exhibit, a retail store, and a cafe. Following the renovation, the retail footprint has expanded, while the cafe remains operational. Apple has not disclosed the reasons for removing the AR exhibit or announced any future interactive plans.
