Apple has officially released version 7.0 of the Apple Music app for Android following a month-long beta testing period. The update introduces a new Liquid Glass design language and a refreshed brand identity for the platform.
The application now features a new icon that automatically switches between black and white based on the device's system theme, replacing the previous red background. Inside the app, the primary accent color has been shifted from red to blue to ensure consistent branding.
The interface now utilizes a floating bottom navigation bar with a semi-transparent effect. The mini-player has also been redesigned as a floating element. Additionally, the app adopts a full-screen layout with modernized status and navigation bars.
The top navigation area has been reorganized to place titles and the more menu on the same line. Features such as Edit Library and Edit Categories have been moved into the three-dot menu, which now features a circular container instead of red coloring.
Artist pages now generate custom color themes based on the artist's cover art. The layout includes prominent playback controls, while the share button has been relocated to the top right corner to match the iOS version. The settings menu has also been reorganized for improved usability.
