Apple has updated its Invites application to version 1.12.1. The release introduces new management tools for event organizers, allowing them to manually add guests and update their RSVP status directly within the app, even if the confirmation was received through external channels.

The update also brings a new extra-large home screen widget for iPhone users. This feature provides a larger display area for event countdowns. Additionally, the latest version includes general bug fixes and performance improvements, although Apple has not specified the details of these technical changes.

The Apple Invites service, launched in February 2025, is designed for managing event invitations. To create an event, users must have an iCloud+ subscription with at least 50GB of storage, which costs $0.99 per month. Guests can respond to invitations for free on any device.
