Apple has updated its official documentation regarding the storage requirements for Apple Intelligence. According to the latest support page, certain devices now require up to 14 GB of free storage space to support these features, an increase from the previous 8 GB threshold.
The updated requirements apply to the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the iPhone Air. Additionally, the 14 GB storage demand extends to iPad models equipped with M4 or later chips and at least 12 GB of unified memory, as well as Mac computers featuring M3 or later chips with at least 12 GB of RAM.
The Apple Vision Pro, powered by the M5 chip, is also included in this updated storage category. To utilize these capabilities, users must ensure their devices are running iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, visionOS 2.4, or watchOS 11, or any subsequent versions of these operating systems.
