Apple is preparing to release its first smart home hub, HomeView, which will be available in two versions: desktop and wall-mounted. Both models are powered by the A18 chip and utilize built-in sensors to support computational audio, which optimizes loudness and bass response across different volume levels.

The desktop version of HomeView features a more robust speaker configuration compared to the wall-mounted model. It includes two custom full-range drivers, a dedicated downward-firing woofer, and two force-canceling passive radiators. These components are designed to deliver deeper bass and clearer high-frequency audio.

The wall-mounted version of HomeView also comes with two custom full-range drivers and supports spatial audio. However, it lacks the additional woofer and passive radiators found in the desktop model. Its audio system is specifically tuned for wall-mounted installations to ensure balanced sound output.
