Apple's wall-mounted smart home hub, HomeView, lacks VESA mounting holes, making it incompatible with standard universal display mounts. The device features a USB-C port and a unique protrusion on the back, indicating a proprietary mounting system.
Users must purchase specific mounting accessories from Apple or wait for third-party alternatives. Currently, Apple offers two solutions in partnership with Schneider Home. The Power Mount, priced at $59.95, allows for connection to standard power outlets.
A hardwired version is available for $79.95, enabling direct integration with a home electrical system. Furthermore, Apple plans to release a Power over Ethernet (PoE) mount for $129.95, which will provide both power and internet connectivity.
