Apple has released a six-second teaser through its Beats by Dre brand, hinting at a new collaboration with the Pokémon franchise. The video features a dark, pill-shaped speaker surrounded by yellow lightning and purple energy, accompanied by the caption 'Time to catch something new.'

While the official announcement does not name a specific character, the yellow lightning imagery strongly suggests a Pikachu-themed version of the Beats Pill. The Pokémon official account responded to the teaser on X with an eyes emoji, confirming their involvement in the project.

The companies have not yet disclosed a release date, pricing, or the final design of the device. Speculation regarding the partnership grew after Pikachu visited Apple Park in August 2026 alongside Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara.

Apple originally revived the Beats Pill in 2024, two years after discontinuing the previous version. The brand frequently uses co-branded editions to update its hardware, having previously partnered with Nike and K-pop singer Jennie earlier in 2026.
