Apple has officially updated its list of obsolete products, ending all service and repair support for several older devices. The company classifies hardware as obsolete if it has been more than seven years since the last retail distribution.

The 12-inch MacBook, originally released in 2017, is now included in the obsolete category. This model was the final iteration of the series before Apple discontinued the entire product line.

The sixth-generation iPad, including both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi plus Cellular models, has also been moved to the obsolete list. Additionally, all color variants of the BeatsX headphones are no longer eligible for service.

Apple maintains a public database of vintage and obsolete products. While vintage devices may still receive service subject to parts availability, obsolete status marks the end of all official support.
