Schneider Electric has partnered with Apple to launch a smart thermostat as part of the new Apple Home Collection. The device is scheduled for release in the United States and Canada in early 2027. Schneider Electric set the suggested retail price at $199.99 for the thermostat and $39.99 for optional room sensors, while Apple offers both items for four cents less.

The thermostat integrates with the Apple Home app and supports Siri voice commands. A key feature, Adaptive Temperature, uses iPhone data to detect user presence and adjust climate settings automatically. Additionally, the Clean Energy Guidance feature allows users with compatible utility plans to optimize heating and cooling based on electricity costs and grid cleanliness.

The device supports the Matter and Thread protocols to maintain network connectivity. Setup is facilitated via NFC pairing, and all data within the Home app is protected by end-to-end encryption. The system can also utilize temperature and humidity data from sensors in HomeView, HomePod, and HomePod mini devices.

Schneider Electric also introduced three magnetic power mounts for the wall-mounted HomeView display. The USB-C version is priced at $59.99, the hardwired AC version at $79.99, and the Power over Ethernet model at $129.99. The USB-C and AC mounts will be available in Apple stores starting November 13, with the Ethernet version launching in early 2027.
