Apexgaming has unveiled the Odin Apex APEX WS3000, a power supply unit delivering 3000 W of power. The device complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe CEM 5.1 standards and holds an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency certification. It is designed for high-performance computing systems and features four 12V-2x6 connectors to support modern graphics cards.
The unit utilizes a fully modular design with textured cables, Japanese capacitors, and a 140 mm dual ball-bearing fan. It incorporates eight protection mechanisms, including safeguards against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overpower, short circuits, and overheating. The manufacturer offers a 12-year warranty for the product.
The power supply includes a dedicated PS-ON control signal interface, enabling users to start the unit without a load and manage multiple devices centrally. While the retail price is set at ¥6000, the product was not yet available for purchase at the time of the announcement.
