Anthropic and Accenture have announced a joint initiative to invest a total of $2 billion into the independent evaluation of frontier AI models. Each company plans to contribute at least $1 billion over the next five years to support this effort.

As part of the agreement, Accenture will embed its evaluators directly within Anthropic. These specialists will focus on scrutinizing AI safety practices, particularly concerning the Claude family of models.

This partnership follows Anthropic's recent commitment to provide independent evaluators with permanent employee-level access to its systems. The initiative highlights a strategic shift toward enterprise-grade scrutiny and third-party oversight of AI development.
