The organization ANO Digital Platforms has introduced a new analytical tool called Prizma. This project aims to provide a structured quadrant system for the Russian software market, which has faced a lack of standardized evaluation methods since the departure of international agencies like Gartner and Forrester in 2022.
Prizma covers 441 distinct software categories and includes 9,842 individual entries. The system is designed to offer a consistent methodology for comparing local products, addressing the fragmentation caused by numerous existing industry, media, and vendor-led ratings that currently lack unified criteria.
The platform operates in a test mode and is scheduled to update its data on a quarterly basis. The developers intend for this approach to serve as a foundation for industry discussion, inviting feedback and collaboration to refine how software implementations are evaluated and categorized within the domestic market.
