Anker has unveiled the SOLIX S5000, a portable power station designed for home backup and off-grid use. The unit features a 5024 Wh battery capacity and offers a rated output of 4500 W, with a peak output of 8000 W. Users can expand the total capacity up to 30 kWh by connecting additional battery modules.
The device utilizes LiFePO4 battery cells, rated for 6000 cycles while maintaining 80% of their original capacity. Anker estimates a 15-year service life based on daily usage and provides a five-year warranty. The station supports charging from the grid, solar panels, and external generators, with a full charge from the grid taking 99 minutes.
The station includes various outlets such as NEMA 5-20R, L14-30R, and TT-30R, alongside USB-A and USB-C ports with up to 100 W output. It functions as an uninterruptible power supply with a 10 ms switch time. The unit weighs approximately 44 kg and is equipped with wheels and a retractable handle for mobility.
Sales in the United States are scheduled to begin on October 27 via the official Anker store and Amazon. The retail price is set at $3600, though an introductory offer will lower the price to $2500 for early buyers.
