Italian manufacturer Angelelli Automobili has unveiled the Tipo 829, a new supercar concept named after the internal designation of the Lancia Stratos. The vehicle is designed with a mid-engine layout and features a 3.2-liter V6 engine producing 500 hp, paired with a standard all-wheel-drive system.
The company plans to offer the model in three distinct configurations: Pista for track use, Terra for rally and uneven surfaces, and Strada for road performance. The Pista variant features aerodynamic enhancements including a fixed rear wing, canards, and a specialized hood, while the Terra version is designed with increased suspension travel.
The design features a forward-positioned windshield aligned with the front axle to maximize cabin space. Currently, the company has only released renderings and preliminary specifications for the project. Further details regarding the platform architecture or production timelines remain undisclosed.
