Anduril Industries has launched a tender offer allowing current and former employees to sell shares at $94.80 each. The program, which is capped at approximately $1.3 billion, is open to staff across 16 countries and concludes on November 9.
The deal implies a company valuation of $90 billion, representing a 48% increase since May, when the firm was valued at $61 billion. This tender offer is a share sale rather than a formal funding round, and the company remains private.
The company, founded in 2017 by Palmer Luckey and partners, produces unmanned aircraft and surveillance software. It recently secured a US Army contract worth up to $1.8 billion over five years for command and control systems, with $162.8 million allocated for the base period.
Anduril is investing $3.7 billion in a shipyard in Maryland and $1 billion in a facility in Ohio. These capital expenditures support its defense production goals, including the manufacturing of submarine components, with the shipyard expected to be operational by 2030.
