Anchored Finance has introduced tokenized versions of traditional stocks on the Uniswap decentralized exchange. The primary deployment took place on the Arbitrum Layer-2 network, with the launch officially going live on August 24.
The project has brought 10 tokenized equities to the platform. Each of these assets is backed 1:1 by actual shares held through regulated US brokers and custodians, ensuring a compliance framework where every on-chain token represents a real share in a brokerage account.
The tokenized stocks are issued as ERC-20 tokens, and settlements are conducted in USDC. To optimize execution for traders, liquidity routing is handled through the UniswapX order-routing protocol.
Beyond Arbitrum, Anchored Finance has simultaneously deployed its tokenized equities across three other networks: the Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Monad. The project also implemented on-chain issuance workflows to make the creation and redemption of shares transparent and verifiable.
