Anchorage Digital has partnered with Standard Chartered to enhance its banking services for international institutional clients. The collaboration allows users to manage USD accounts and access SWIFT payment rails directly through the Anchorage Digital platform.
Clients onboarded via Anchorage Digital Singapore can now hold US dollars, execute international wire transfers, and move funds to third parties using the banking infrastructure of Standard Chartered. The service includes access to virtual accounts with unique routing details.
The integration enables 24/7 settlement capabilities for transactions with counterparties banking at Standard Chartered Singapore, including operations during weekends and holidays. This feature complements the existing Atlas settlement network.
The initiative aims to consolidate fiat and digital asset operations into a single interface, eliminating the need for institutions to maintain separate providers for custody, trading, and banking. This move also strengthens the company's presence in the Asia Pacific region.
