Amundi, Europe's largest asset manager with €2 to €3 trillion in assets, finalized the acquisition of a 9.9% economic stake in the UK-based firm ICG on September 17, 2026. The deal, valued at €620 million (approximately $711 million), grants Amundi 4.9% of voting rights and a seat on the ICG board.

The transaction includes a 10-year exclusive distribution agreement. Amundi will distribute ICG’s evergreen funds and selected products to wealth and private banking clients globally, excluding the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

The first product from the partnership, an evergreen fund focused on private equity secondaries, is scheduled for launch in the coming weeks. ICG manages $126 billion in assets, specializing in private debt, structured capital, and real assets.

Starting in Q3 2026, Amundi will incorporate ICG’s financial performance, including net flows and assets under management, into its own reporting metrics.
