American Bitcoin Corp., a subsidiary of Hut 8, has resumed operations at its mining facility in Drumheller, Alberta. The site, which had been inactive since March 2024 due to high energy costs and grid issues, now features a power capacity of 42 MW.

The company has deployed 11,298 new ASIC miners at the location. These units operate at an efficiency of 13.5 J/TH, contributing 3.05 EH/s to the company's total hash rate. This reactivation follows a strategic plan announced on March 3, 2026.

Following the update, American Bitcoin reports a total operational fleet of approximately 58,999 miners, delivering a combined hash rate of 25.0 EH/s with an average efficiency of 14.1 J/TH. The company's total owned fleet consists of 89,242 miners.

The expansion is part of a broader strategy to accumulate Bitcoin at costs below market spot prices. With a total fleet capacity of 28.1 EH/s, the firm retains the ability to deploy additional hardware as it secures further power resources.
